Every story matters

Find a place where you can live your story as it's meant to be.

We're a small part of something much bigger!

1941

Young Life begins in the USA

In a town in Texas, at the request of his pastor, a young associate pastor named Jim Rayburn began showing young people how much God cares about them by showing up in their world and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.

100+

countries with Young Life staff and leaders

Today, Young Life is a global organization with local focus. You'll find Young Life leaders from diverse cultures, nationalities and backgrounds in over 100 countries around the world.

2 Million

young people reached by Young Life staff and leaders

Whether it's in cities or villages, towns or tower blocks, in countries on every continent, Young Life leaders are working with over two million young people, right in their own neighborhoods.

348,000

kids involved weekly

Since 1941, Young Life leaders have walked with kids and earned the right to be heard in an exhausting and exciting world. Prior to 2020, 348,000 kids were involved every week all around the world.

YOUNG LIFE

Helping local kids find true life.

Young Life welcomes all local Snoqualmie Valley high schoolers (9-12th grade) at Mount Si High School, Two Rivers high School, private, or home schools!

Clubs, fun group events with a meaningful message, meet monthly on Sundays + leaders meet for "cabin time" or small groups throughout the week.

  1. We enter the world of kids and walk alongside them in an exciting and exhausting world.
  2. We share the hope of who kids can become and how life was designed to be.
  3. We hope kids experience true hope and life to the full.

For Adults:

COMMITTEE

The involvement of people like you is vital to healthy, sustainable, quality youth work in your area and across our nations.

Young Life committees are the lifeline for Young Life in the local area. The committee is a group of local adults who care about kids and are committed to Young Life's mission to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.

Committee is also active in supporting the local Young Life ministry by praying for local Young Life, by fundraising, securing administrative resources and encouraging staff.

Volunteer Leaders

Adults invested in relationships with kids to carry out our mission.

We believe your story matters, and it can make a difference beyond what you imagine in the lives of adolescents.

Our Team

We have an amazing team of volunteers led and supported by Madison Murphy (Area Director, Staff), Scott Hasselbach (Committee Chair, Volunteer), and Clara Schlotfeldt (Area Administrator, Part-Time Staff).

We would love to connect with you! Whether you have questions, concerns, or are seeking ways to invest your talents and gifts into this ministry, we are grateful for the opportunity to get to know you!

Community Partnering

Do you represent a local church, business, or non-profit? Or, could you bring wisdom to our committee meetings, serve as a volunteer leader, or offer your home for a meeting? Maybe you're hesitant about Young Life and just want to hear more. We know that strong cross-generational connections foster health wherever they occur, leading to decreases in negative social outcomes and increases in long-term community flourishing. We'd love to meet you as we galvanize relationships between the next generation and our local communities in the greater Snoqualmie Valley!
