1941
Young Life begins in the USA
In a town in Texas, at the request of his pastor, a young associate pastor named Jim Rayburn began showing young people how much God cares about them by showing up in their world and sharing the message of God's love through Jesus in ways and words they could understand and relate to.

For Adults:
COMMITTEE
The involvement of people like you is vital to healthy, sustainable, quality youth work in your area and across our nations.
Young Life committees are the lifeline for Young Life in the local area. The committee is a group of local adults who care about kids and are committed to Young Life's mission to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
Committee is also active in supporting the local Young Life ministry by praying for local Young Life, by fundraising, securing administrative resources and encouraging staff.
Parent Support
Supporting the heartbeat of the mission.
Parent Support Teams provide the necessary support and resources to make our monthly events a success.
Whether it's signing up to chaperone, bringing pizzas, supplying raffle prizes, or opening their home to host - the Parent Support team is vital to thriving Young Life and Wyldlife ministries.
Our Team
We have an amazing team of volunteers led and supported by Madison Murphy (Area Director, Staff), Scott Hasselbach (Committee Chair, Volunteer), and Clara Schlotfeldt (Area Administrator, Part-Time Staff).
We would love to connect with you! Whether you have questions, concerns, or are seeking ways to invest your talents and gifts into this ministry, we are grateful for the opportunity to get to know you!
Community Partnering
Do you represent a local church, business, or non-profit? Or, could you bring wisdom to our committee meetings, serve as a volunteer leader, or offer your home for a meeting? Maybe you're hesitant about Young Life and just want to hear more. We know that strong cross-generational connections foster health wherever they occur, leading to decreases in negative social outcomes and increases in long-term community flourishing. We'd love to meet you as we galvanize relationships between the next generation and our local communities in the greater Snoqualmie Valley!
